Description
“master builder… (his style is) a barrage of guitar pyrotechnics that call to mind a grand mix of the styles of past masters like Albert King, Freddie King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Jimi Hendrix.” Bluesprint Magazine
A masterful blues-rock guitarist, singer, and songwriter, Cummings has been electrifying audiences across the globe with his searing guitar work and soulful vocals. A Massachusetts native, he has earned his place among the modern guitar greats, celebrated for his ability to fuse emotional depth with technical brilliance.
Over the years, Cummings has shared the stage with legends such as B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Johnny Winter, and Susan Tedeschi, further cementing his status as a guitar virtuoso and respected voice in the blues community.
He first made waves with his 2003 debut album From the Heart, produced by Double Trouble, the iconic rhythm section behind Stevie Ray Vaughan. This breakout led to a string of acclaimed releases, including Working Man (2006), No Regrets (2012), Someone Like You (2015, produced by Grammy-winner David Z), and Believe (2020), which debuted at #2 on the Billboard Blues Chart.
Known for his explosive live performances and heartfelt intensity, Albert Cummings continues to build his legacy—one blistering guitar solo at a time.
