The 2025 GRAMMY®-nominated and 2025 Blues Music Award “Acoustic Album of the Year” is Sue Foley’s tribute to the female pioneers of guitar. Presented in honor of Women’s History Month, this solo acoustic performance highlights Foley’s unmistakable artistry.
A guitarist, singer, songwriter, and bandleader, she is a 2025 multi-Blues Music Awards winner (Acoustic Blues Album, Traditional Blues Female Artist – Koko Taylor Award), 2025 GRAMMY® nominee (Best Traditional Blues Album), and 2025 Juno nominee (Blues Album of the Year).
Hailing from Ottawa, Canada, and based in Austin, Texas, Foley has released 17 studio albums and appeared on 19 others, with One Guitar Woman among her most acclaimed works. Known for her iconic pink paisley Telecaster and her rare ability to bring both power and intimacy to the stage, she will also be featured on the upcoming season of Austin City Limits/PBS-TV (Fall 2025).
